This website is a small interactive internet experiment. The coffee animation runs locally in your browser. We do not use analytics, advertising trackers, external webfonts, user accounts or profiling on the website itself.
Hosting
The website is intended to be hosted on Netlify infrastructure. When you visit the site, technically necessary connection and request data such as IP address, requested URL, timestamp, HTTP status and browser information may be processed to deliver and secure the website. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in providing a reliable and secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Optional payments via Stripe
If you choose an optional paid amount after the virtual coffee, you will be redirected to a Stripe-hosted checkout page. We do not collect full card or bank details on this website. Stripe and, depending on your chosen payment method, banks, card networks or other payment providers process the information required to complete the payment.
Payment and transaction data are processed as necessary to carry out the payment you initiated (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), to comply with legal accounting or retention obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR), and where necessary to prevent abuse, fraud or payment disputes (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Stripe may also process data for its own regulatory, security and fraud-prevention purposes. More information is available in Stripe's privacy information at stripe.com/privacy.
If you contact us at hello@didiearnyourdollar.com, we process your email address, message content and any information you choose to provide in order to respond. The mailbox is hosted using Hostinger Email. Depending on the context, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
International processing
Some service providers involved in hosting, email delivery or payment processing may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, the respective providers use the transfer mechanisms and safeguards described in their privacy and contractual documentation.
Retention
We retain payment, accounting and communication records only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose, legal retention requirements, or the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims. Service providers may apply their own retention rules for data they process independently.
Your rights
Subject to the legal requirements, you may have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection under Articles 15–21 GDPR. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.
